Jay and Jay, The Story
I have always wanted to start a site. I wanted to talk about my life but I contemplated. Then I met Jay. Then I wanted to start a site for us. But I procrastinated. More than two years later, this is what I have now, a humble beginning. Just like any couples, we have been through many good and hard times together and this is one reason what this site is for: to put down our story in writing. So that this blog will witness our existence and hopefully we can flip through the archives one day and laugh at the silly things we did and be touched by Jay's heroic deed. Hi, I am Kay, we are boyfriends and this is the our story.

Ok, I am gonna sound like a neocon now.
A man's body is for the enjoyment of a woman.
A woman's body is for the enjoyment of a man.
Anything else..... is...... Yuck!!!

It's biasa among locals but not to the extend of blogging it.

Strictly speaking, it is each individual's choice to hump whoever he wants to hump. I think it is really Yuck, but I suppose, one man's Yuck is another man's Ummmmmmm.......
Still, I think it's Bleaarrgghh!

I wonder why people are so turned off at the thought of homosexual men, yet lesbians are quite another category? People are incredibly tolerant to lesbians, I wonder why?

It is very simple.....
Men are more vocal than women, and most men are not homosexual. Women (for whatever reasons), don't seem to want to say too much about homosexuality, and so are effectively not represented in public opinion on this matter.
Men are more turned off by the sight(or thought) of a man touching another man, such sights and thoughts would naturally invoke associative thoughts what it would feel like for another man to touch him. And that would normally ring all the alarm bells there are. Then again, there is also the "How can you dishonour your weapon by pointing it in the 'wrong direction'?!!? " factor.
A man would not be too turned of by the sight or thoughts of lesbians, because in this case, he would only be able to make an association with what it is like to touch a woman. Since that would mostly be pleasant, the reaction would not be too unfavorable. On closer examination, you will find that the association is actually out of context.
As to what women think about this, actually I have no blinking idea.
So, given that it is men who do most of the talking about homosexuality, is it any surprise that the "bleaarrgghh" responses is mainly directly to homosexuality among men?

"Sum goh lui yan yat goh hui." (3 women makes 1 wet market). Can you get more vocal than that?

What have 3 women and a fish market got to do with homosexuality?
Huh???
Posted by: Freddie Chong | September 11, 2005 06:29 PM
Freddie,
You are so lui yan!!!
Posted by: Tom | September 13, 2005 08:35 PM
Tom,
What???
I am so lui yan??? Are you saying I am feminine?
Geeez! Why the heck would you even think that?
I am definitely missing something here.

Why can't anyone accept homosexuality? I mean, I'm straight and I don't see anything wrong with two men or two women in love.

Same as saying....
Why can't people accept a brother and sister in love?
After all, they are two consenting adults
