PPS is coming back online: standby pls

As i promised earlier, Project Petaling Street is returning to health this weekend. The job isn't quite ready yet, but its coming along swimmingly. Upgraded to MT3.2, refreshed the design with StyleCatcher, and looking to add a host of new features that will protect PPS from future spam attacks (including a revolving ping address).

Thanks to all for your patience, PPS shall resume normal service in several days.

I like the new look. And the easily accessible archives. Aiz, thanks a mil for the effort. Hope to see PPS back soon.

hi there. long time no see? you look different, did something to your hair?

Hey, what an improvement!!!

Awesome! As for spam prevention, all you need left to add is MT-Blacklist and Email Whitelister though I hope the whitelister comes controllable in a .txt file soon.

Yeay!

Aizuddin, fantastic job. Really. W/o you, wow, i dont know where the blogger scene of Malaysia would be. Keep it up, and hey - the new design rocks!

Danny: I tried the design you came up with first, but i couldn't set it up properly so i figured i'll go with a standard StyleCatcher design first. Is there any way to make the design you did StyleCatcher compatible?

Everything you see is not finalized, still a work in progress.

Lots of things left to do, pls standby.

hey Aizuddin, looking good, looking good!

Is the Pinger working? Coz I keep getting 404 errors!

No, the pinger is not working and PPS is generally not accepting any new pings for the moment until i've sorted everything out.

Coolies! i like the new look! Hope the pinger can be up running soon :) All the best!

Thanks for everything Aiz

it's HOT-looking aiz! =)

Love the new look. Can't wait for PPS to be back online.

Thank you, Aiz, and whoever worked behind PPS. Thank you, so very much for your hard work and dedication. I am out of words to express my gratitude.

ohhhh....I can't wait.

I am sure that PPS would be more secure and careful this time.

At least we learn something from this round.

:-)
