PPS Accepting Members Again

I'm reasonably satisfied that PPS is stable. Therefore, i've opened the membership registration for new members. The link can be found above in the "About PPS" section on the sidebar.

ps. PPS is running a short survey. If you've got 1,000+ blog postings to your name, PPS would like to know about it.

PPS Search 2!

Thanks to the amazing talents of Chua Kuan Yong (he's got a really cool looking blog too -- didn't know you could make your Blogspot look so good!), PPS Search is looking remarkably tasty!! Really, an excellent job done over the weekend. Check it out! Just a few more minor touches and the search engine will be 100% ready.

Please help test PPS

PPS is available for some ping testing. Earlier today, Suanie noticed a problem (all pings were returning "403 Throttled" errors) and i believe i've fixed it. Please try it out, feedback is welcomed. Only for existing PPS members.

PPS is not accepting pings yet

Pls don't try to ping or look for a way to ping PPS. I am cleaning up everything else first, and the last thing i'll do is reactivate the pinger. I'm re-engineering the process PPS handles pings to make the overall experience better for everyone, so please be patient. Thanks.

PPS Search

Ok, all you PPSers out there: guess what i've been doing: writing a search script from scratch! This is what i consider the Holy Grail of PPS -- something i've wanted to be able to do since the beginning of the project: search the ping database for keywords and dig up old pings!

Try it out. Feedback very welcome.

Don't mind the look and feel, i'll clean it up later. Its all Alpha-stage for now.

ok, ok, back to getting PPS back to accepting pings... ;)

PPS is coming back online: standby pls

As i promised earlier, Project Petaling Street is returning to health this weekend. The job isn't quite ready yet, but its coming along swimmingly. Upgraded to MT3.2, refreshed the design with StyleCatcher, and looking to add a host of new features that will protect PPS from future spam attacks (including a revolving ping address).

Thanks to all for your patience, PPS shall resume normal service in several days.

Service interruption

PPS is down for the time being; it was hit by a massive spam attack that crippled the webserver. In the process of bringing it back up. Thanks for your patience.
